Signing Up and Starting the Process
After you create an account, you provide the details of the work you've completed for your US client. This includes a description, the agreed amount, and the client's billing contact. Panorama Systems then reviews the information and prepares a US invoice. You don't need to incorporate in the States or open a US bank account. This step is designed to be straightforward so you can spend your time on client work, not on chasing paperwork. Once the invoice is ready, it gets sent directly to your client from a Florida-based company. That’s the moment the payment process shifts entirely onto domestic US rails. The invoice looks like any other US vendor invoice, which makes it easy for your client’s accounting team to process without delay.
What Your US Client Sees
From your client’s perspective, nothing about the transaction feels international. The invoice arrives from PANORAMA SYSTEMS FLORIDA LLC with a US address in Sunny Isles Beach. The amount is stated in US dollars, and the payment instructions are for a US bank account. Their accounts-payable department handles it like any other domestic bill. There’s no foreign wire, no currency conversion on their end, and no extra forms. This is often the deciding factor for clients who hesitate to work with overseas freelancers — they want the simplicity of paying a US entity. Once they pay, they receive a normal receipt, and their books reflect a domestic expense.
Receiving Your Payment
After the client pays the invoice, Panorama Systems deducts its service fee and sends the remainder to you. As a Cape Town freelancer, you have several payout choices: Wise, SWIFT, a local bank transfer in ZAR, or USDT. You select your preferred method in your account settings. The actual transfer time depends on the method and the banking systems involved. Because the payment originates from a US company, it will appear as an incoming international transfer in your South African bank or wallet. Remember that you remain responsible for declaring this income to SARS and paying any taxes owed under South African law — Panorama Systems does not withhold tax on your behalf. You should keep your own records of these payments for your annual return.
The Paperwork and Your Responsibilities
Panorama Systems handles the US-side paperwork so your client gets a proper invoice and a clear payment record. You do not become an employee of Panorama Systems, and the company does not provide tax guidance. For your own records, you’ll have access to a dashboard that shows past invoices, paid amounts, and fees. This can be useful when you file your annual tax return in South Africa. If your client requests a W-9 or any US tax form, that will be provided by Panorama Systems as the US entity, not by you. You should still maintain your own freelance agreements and contracts with your clients — the service is for payment processing, not for legal or project management. Invoices from Panorama Systems are sequentially numbered and include all the details a US business requires, so your client’s audit trail is clean without you having to set up any US infrastructure.
