Getting Started as a Freelancer in Toronto
Signing up requires no US bank account or registered business entity. You share basic details about your freelance practice so Panorama Systems can generate invoices that match what American clients expect. Account setup is straightforward, and you can begin directing clients to receive invoices from the company right away.
You stay an independent contractor. Panorama Systems does not act as your employer or offer tax advice. You report your income to the Canada Revenue Agency just as you always have.
Invoicing and Collecting Payment from US Clients
For each billable, Panorama Systems issues an invoice under its own US company name and Florida address. The document includes your services, rate, and total. The client sees a domestic invoice. They don’t need to add a foreign vendor or handle international tax forms.
The client pays the US bank account on the invoice. Panorama Systems tracks the incoming payment and alerts you when it clears. You avoid explaining cross-border details to your client’s accounts-payable team.
What Your Client Sees on Their Side
To the client, the transaction is domestic. They receive a familiar invoice from a Florida LLC with a US tax ID. Their payment system processes it without flagging international vendor requirements. No extra paperwork appears on their end.
Because the billing entity is inside the US banking and tax framework, client procurement departments often process payment with fewer questions. Panorama Systems does not promise faster payment, but removing cross-border complexity tends to reduce friction.
Receiving Your Money in Toronto
After the client pays, you request a payout. Options include SWIFT, direct CAD deposit to your Canadian bank account, Wise, or USDT. The service fee is subtracted from the received amount and visible before you initiate the transfer.
Bank processing times vary, so Panorama Systems does not guarantee a specific arrival date. You remain responsible for Canadian taxes. Choose the payout method that fits your cost and convenience needs.
