Why route an invoice through a US company?
Most US companies prefer to pay domestic vendors. When an invoice comes from outside the country, their accounts-payable process can involve extra forms, wire details, and internal approvals. That friction sometimes means a freelancer in Kuching loses out to a local supplier—regardless of skill.
By sending the invoice through PANORAMA SYSTEMS, the client sees a US entity with a Florida address. They pay via ACH, check, or domestic wire. Their workflow stays the same. That’s the core value: removing a barrier for the client.
You pay a service fee for this, and it doesn’t alter your tax obligations in Malaysia. PANORAMA SYSTEMS is not your employer and won’t advise you on what to declare. It’s a utility, not a comprehensive solution.
How it works in practice
You negotiate your project and rate directly with the client. PANORAMA SYSTEMS isn’t involved in that. Once billing is due, you provide the client with an invoice from PANORAMA SYSTEMS FLORIDA LLC. You can customize the service description so it’s clear what the payment covers.
The client pays PANORAMA SYSTEMS. After the funds clear, we deduct the fee and send the net amount to you. Payouts can settle via Wise, SWIFT, a direct MYR bank transfer, or USDT—whichever you choose.
You remain responsible for Malaysian taxes. The payment statement shows gross amount and fee, which you can use for your own records. No tax documents are generated for LHDN.
Payout methods available
Wise payments typically carry lower conversion costs and use the mid-market rate, but you need a Wise account. SWIFT wires go to your bank and work with any account, though intermediary bank fees and exchange markups often apply. Local MYR transfers may be available and can reduce currency conversion steps.
USDT is an option if you handle crypto. You provide a wallet address, and we send the net amount. The value in MYR depends on exchange rates at the time you convert—that risk is yours.
We can’t predict how long a specific method will take. Banking hours, holidays, and compliance checks all affect settlement times. Choose what costs you the least and matches your timing needs.
What this doesn’t solve
Some freelancers hope a US merchant of record will shield them from tax headaches. It won’t. You must still report income to LHDN and pay whatever is due. PANORAMA SYSTEMS gives no tax advice.
If a client expects an employment relationship—with W-2 forms, benefits, or worker protections—this service is the wrong tool. We aren’t an employer of record or a staffing firm.
It also won’t get you a US bank account, a work visa, or a credit record. The only problem it targets is making a freelance invoice payable through a US company’s domestic system.
