The Invoicing Block When You're in Ibadan
Your US client wants to pay you. But their accounts-payable team sees a Nigerian invoice, unfamiliar bank details, and a foreign tax setup. What should be a straightforward payment turns into a hold-up.
The delay isn't about your work quality. It's a process problem. US companies have compliance checks that often flag non-US vendors. A domestic invoice bypasses those checks entirely.
How the Payment Flow Changes With a US Invoice
PANORAMA SYSTEMS issues the invoice under its own name and US address. The client pays a Florida LLC in US dollars—ACH, check, or wire—through their normal routine. No international transfer on their side.
After the payment clears, PANORAMA SYSTEMS deducts the service fee and sends your share to you. You don't wait on exchange rates or foreign bank holds. The transaction remains simple for the client, and you get paid for your work.
Receiving Payouts in Ibadan: USDT Only
For freelancers in Ibadan, the only payout method is USDT on a supported blockchain network—TRC-20, ERC-20, BEP-20, TON, or Solana. There is no bank transfer. Wise, SWIFT, SEPA, and local Naira transfers are not available.
This is a hard rule. If you don't have a wallet that can accept USDT on one of those networks, set one up before your first payout is due. PANORAMA SYSTEMS does not offer wallet guidance or currency conversion advice. You handle the USDT once it arrives.
What PANORAMA SYSTEMS Does Not Handle
PANORAMA SYSTEMS is not your employer. It withholds no taxes, files no paperwork in Nigeria, and gives no tax advice. You remain an independent contractor fully responsible for your own tax declarations.
The service only covers invoicing and payment forwarding. Contract terms, project scope, and client disputes stay entirely between you and your client. No other involvement is implied or offered.
