Why send a US invoice through a middleman?
Most US companies are skittish about wiring money to a foreign bank account. Their accounts-payable team expects a W-9, a US address, and a domestic payment path. If you send an invoice from your own Indian entity or as a sole proprietor abroad, you’re asking them to do extra paperwork, which often kills the deal.
PANORAMA SYSTEMS sits in between. Your client gets a perfectly normal US invoice from a Florida LLC. They pay like they pay any US contractor. You get paid, minus a fee. That’s the trade-off.
The alternative — registering your own US company — costs thousands in setup and yearly compliance. This service is a cheaper way to remove the client’s objection without forming an entity you don’t need.
The fee: what you pay and what you don’t get
The service takes a cut of each invoice. The percentage isn’t listed on a pricing table because it varies, but it’s transparent before you send anything. You’ll know the number before the client ever sees the invoice.
What you don’t get: tax advice. PANORAMA SYSTEMS will not tell you how to file your Indian taxes. You are not an employee. You won’t receive a W-2 or a 1099 (unless you’re a US person, which you aren’t). You’ll need to talk to a local CA about how to report foreign income.
Some freelancers hope a US merchant of record makes their income tax-free. It doesn’t. India taxes global income for residents. This service handles the client’s payment headache, not your compliance headache.
How the process actually works
You agree on scope and rate with your client. Before starting, you share the details with PANORAMA SYSTEMS. They provide a US invoice template for you to send to the client’s AP department.
The client pays PANORAMA SYSTEMS via whatever method they use domestically — ACH, check, card. Once the payment clears, PANORAMA subtracts the service fee and releases the remainder to you.
You choose how to get paid: a SWIFT transfer to your Indian bank, a local INR transfer via a partner network, a Wise transfer in USD, or USDT if that’s your thing. There’s no lock-in to one method.
You remain entirely self-employed throughout. The client may ask for a W-8BEN form, which you provide directly. PANORAMA doesn’t issue tax forms to non-US freelancers.
Payout options for Bengaluru
Most freelancers here pick either a direct INR bank transfer or a Wise balance. The INR route lands in your HDFC, ICICI, or similar account with negligible fuss, though exchange rates fluctuate daily.
If you prefer to hold USD, a Wise or SWIFT transfer works, but watch out for intermediary bank fees on SWIFT — they can eat a surprising amount. USDT payouts skip the banking system entirely and settle fast, but you’ll need your own offshore exchange to convert to INR.
None of these methods guarantee a specific exchange rate or delivery time. They work, but you’ll want to check the current spreads before you choose.
